Workshops and Certification Courses
West Hawaii Island Gyrotonic® is proud to offer a variety of training courses and workshops for those wishing to learn to teach the
Gyrotonic Expansion System®. We offer Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis teacher training (Pre-training and Foundation Training),
Certified Instructor Updates, Supervised Apprentice Hour , and Specialized Equipment workshops are offered by request with our

All trainings take place at West Hawaii Island Gyrotonic® 74-5626 Alapa Street Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740 unless otherwise specified.
Certification Instructor updates, Supervised Apprentice Hours, and Specialized Equipment workshops are offered by visiting Master Trainers.

Pre-requisites: All Pre-requisites must be fulfilled prior to the training according to the educational guidelines of Gyrotonic Headquarters.

A registration form will be mailed to you. REGISTRATION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY COURSE DEPOSIT TO BE COMPLETE.
Deposits: All Pre-Trainings and Foundation Trainings require a $300 registration deposit. All Updates, Workshops, and Specialized Equipment trainings require a $150 registration deposit. If travel expenses are necessary for the instructor, an additional travel fee might be added to the studio fee/registration deposit.
Balance: Once we receive your registration AND deposit, your spot in a training is secured. The remaining balance for all trainings is due on the first day of the course.
Attendance: It is mandatory to attend the entire course to be considered for certification. Make-up sessions are only for emergency circumstances and may be subject to additional fees.
Cancellation Policy: Once registered, please let WHIG know immediately if you are unable to attend. A full refund of the deposit is available when you notify WHIG 4 weeks or more prior to the start date of the workshop. Late cancellations (4 weeks or less before the start date) may be subject to the loss of the registration deposit depending on whether we are able to fill the spot with another participant. West Hawaii Island Gyrotonic reserves the right to postpone or cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In this event, all paid course fees will be refunded.
